I'm only 8 weeks and just over 5 foot tall and am quite petite-my family and colleagues have all told me I'll need a Caesarean-is this true?

You will be amazed how your body changes to accommodate a pregnancy, and some very small women give birth completely normally whilst some tall women don’t! So far you have been subjected to the opinions of friends and family who are entitled to their opinion but have clearly unsettled you. Talk to the experts; your doctor or midwife is the best person to chat to-the important thing is that no decision need sto be taken until much later in your pregnancy. For example it'll be a lot clearer as to how big baby is and whether baby's head is engaged at 36 weeks.
