I'm 33 weeks pregnant and my waters went at 32 weeks. When will baby be born?

This is called PPROM (preterm prelabour rupture of membranes). At this stage in pregnancy, even if all the amniotic fluid has leaked out and continues to-with only a little left, baby should not suffer any ill effects whatsoever. The risk is that an infection could develop in the membranes and placenta-and even the baby, as the protective sac around baby has been breached. If this happens, you will need antibiotics and delivery straight away. However if there are no signs of infection most obstetricians would wait for you to reach 34 or even 36 weeks before delivering baby.
