What does it feel like if your blood pressure goes up really high from pre-eclampsia?

You may not have any symptoms, which is why high blood pressure may go undetected for days or even weeks. However most women feel 'not quite right'. You may have a headache-often over the eyes, or just feel 'muzzy'. Visual disturbance is common-with blurring or flashing lights in front of your eves, and you could feel faint or even jittery. If this happens and you know you have pre-eclampsia or high blood pressure, you should seek medical assisstance immediately.
