Is it safe for me to drive?

Yes, you are always at risk of injury when traveling in a car but in early pregnancy your risk is no greater. After 37 weeks it may be a good idea, particularly on long journeys to make sure someone accompanies you (and preferably drives you) in case you go into labour. You should check the correct advice on how to wear a seat-belt; usually the lower belt should go under the bulge, the upper part above it.
