I have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Can I have an epidural anaesthetic in labour?

This depends on how the multiple sclerosis is affecting you, and also on the opinion of the anaesthetist who would be siting the epidural for you. It would be useful for you to raise this and have a discussion with an anaesthetist well before your due date.
