Can a pap smear test damage an early pregnancy?

No, a pap smear is to check for abnormalities in the cells of your cervix (neck of the womb) and doesn't affect a pregnancy developing in the womb. You whould however tell your doctor that you are pregnant, as pregnancy can affect how the smear test is read.
