Is there any way I can predict what my baby's weight will be at birth?

If you look at the baby's estimated fetal weight (EFW) from the report of a scan done after 20 weeks, you can usually trace the baby's estimated weight on the graph, assuming the baby grows along the same growth line. This is likely to be more accurate if you've a later pregnancy scan, for example at 32 weeks or later. You can access persnalized growth charts on the web which allow you to put in your weight, ethnic origin, how many babies you have had etc to make this assessemnt even more accurate, though it still remains only a guide.
