There are three main factors that explain subfertility in about 90% of couples. Blockage or disease of the fallopian tubes, irregular or infrequent ovulation and poor quality sperm all reduce your likelihood of conceiving successfully. Luckily, these causes can usually be treated although they may require special techniques.
