I am currently taking the birth control pill to regulate my menstrual cycle, when should I stop taking the pill to get pregnant?

Once you''ve stopped the pill, your periods tend to go back to the pattern they had before you started taking the pill. So if you had very infrequent and light periods, or conversely heavy and frequent periods, you can expect this to happen again once you''re off the pill. But you should start ovulating (releasing eggs) more or less straight away, so most people stop the pill 3-6 months before anticiptaing a pregnancy.
