Obviously situations vary from person to person, and your problem may be more specific than the ideas given here. Talking to him is the best course of action. Men too, go through many emotional stages once they know they are to become a father. There are the financial considerations to worry him, he is for the foreseeable future the only breadwinner, and there is at least one extra to be provided for. This is probably why he is working late. He may also be afraid of how life is going to change and that is why he is clinging to his time spent with mates. It is familiar and comfortable to him and so reassures him. The best thing you can do is tell him how you feel and take it from there. |
