We have been trying for a baby for a long time, when should we consult a doctor?

If you don''t get pregnant immediately after you start trying for a baby doesn''t mean that there is a problem with you or your partner. You have a 80% chance of getting pregnant within a year of trying, and 90% within two years. Therefore the right time to seek medical advice is after one year of unsuccessful trying for a pregnancy, unless you or your partner know that you suffer from a condition that is likely to affect your chances of getting pregnant, in which case obviously you may need specialist advise earlier.
