Three weeks ago, I had an ultrasound saying that I was 7 weeks. I should now be 10 weeks, but on the scan today my baby is measuring 14 weeks. Could an ultrasound be that wrong? |
Don''t blame the ultrasound machine! The most likely explanation for this is human error in either measuring your baby on scan, or plotting the measurements. A four week difference in size in early pregnancy is just not possible. If you remain confused, a further (independent) scan in a few days may settle the issue.
