Your life will need to change, yes. The change will also be permanent. You are now both potential parents and as such, things in your life will inevitably change. This need not be as scary as it seems. Try not to see your life as ''before and after''. Adaptation and flexibility are the key. It is advisable not to drink in pregnancy, but this does not mean you stop seeing your friends who still do. It is the unknown that unsettles you; this will get easier as you continue through the pregnancy.
