I had my baby 6 months ago and haven't had a period since. I've just done a home pregnancy test and it was positive. Is this possible?

Yes, it is quite possible to ovulate (release eggs from the ovary) but not actually have a period. This is commonest after you've had a baby, especially if you're breastfeeding some of the time. So you are therefore at risk of getting pregnant from unprotected sex. An ultrasound scan would tell you how far pregnant you are.
