I get up every morning with a runny nose and sneeze almost all day long. I''ve been told this is rhinitis of pregnancy-what is it?

For some reason, the lining of your nose (mucosa) may become very sensitive in pregnancy. For example, smoke or dust that might not cause a problem when you''re not pregnant can cause a runny nose, sneezing and painful sinuses. The lining of your sinuses may become congested and produce a lot of mucus. It is usually safe to use nasal decongestants and your doctor may even prescribe a low dose nasal steroid.
