This depends on how many weeks pregnant you are. In early pregnancy (up to 13 weeks), a little dark blood spotting is common and as long as you have no pain, and it resolves, there is a good chance that there isn''t a problem. Later in pregancy, any fresh vaginal bleeding should be reported to your doctor or midwife straight away.
