The baby''s poo looks like diarrhoea, is this right?

Most likely yes. We tend to compare everything about babies with the adult alternative and assume when it''s different that there is something wrong. Babies'' stools are yellow and runny, quite different from adults. Breast fed babies'' stools are even more likely to be liquid. This is normal. If, however, you would describe the stools as watery and green, this is not normal and may indicate that your baby is unwell. Check with your midwife or doctor.
