I''ve heard of expressing breast milk, why would I do this?
Breast milk is expressed so that it can be given a different way. For example, premature babies can''t suck very well and may need to be fed through a tube. In other cases, you could express milk to temporarily to ease full, swollen breasts. Alternatively, you could do this so that someone else can feed the baby, for example when you go out for the evening or return to work.
