My five day old baby has lost weight when weighed today ..what am I doing wrong?

Absolutely nothing. If you think of the little volume of milk he has had and those amazing nappies he''s produced...it makes sense that there is a bit of imbalance. We expect babies to lose 10% of their birth weight and to regain it by around 10 days old. So your baby sounds spot on, so well done!!
