In the UK, absolutely. If you had a home birth the midwives will show you at home, if you had a hospital birth, the midwives on the ward will ensure that you are confident with feeding before you go home and then the community midwives will check all remains well. In other countries you may have to rely on the help of a friend who has already done it and who better than an expert who mastered it to be your instructor!
