How warm should the baby be?

Especially the hands and feet of babies are always colder than the rest of the body. So place your hand on the baby''s chest or neck and if it feels cold you have your answer. It is not advised to wrap babies up tightly, or have the heating on full blast. If the baby has clothes on and a blanket over them loosely this should be plenty indoors. When taking baby out except in very warm weather, make sure the hands and feet are covered with warm gear when they are this young. Babies can lose a lot of heat very quickly from their heads.
