However, it must stay dry, in order for this to happen (in the first week). If the cord is dry leave it alone. After a bath, pat it dry, as you would anywhere else on the baby''s skin. If it has got wet with urine, vomit, or poo just clean the area with cooled , boiled water and cotton wool. |
