Babies are supposed to have a routine..how do I establish this and when do I start?

A routine evolves ...a pattern takes form, it is neither created or designed. To try and organise one especially at this stage will only add to your frustrations. Babies are individuals fron the start, some feed every three hours, some every six. Some like peace and quiet, others thrive on noise. The point is that they all do their own thing and with hindsight, possibly a month or six weeks after the birth, you will find yourself talking about your baby''s routine and realise you''ve got one!
