People say I should feel tired now I am pregnant, but how tired should I be?
This can range from feeling mildly tired to being absolutely drained. It makes sense that if you are suffering from morning sickness, and running to the loo lots, you sleep pattern is disturbed and you may feel exhausted in early pregnancy. With proper rest you should begin to feel better as the pregnancy continues. Sit down as much as possible (while doing things around the house, for example) and have rest periods as often as you can. If you feel that you are inappropriately tired, do check that you are not anaemic; anaemia can easily make you very tired and can usually be easily corrected.
