No, this is something you need to be in hospital to have administered. It''s a good example of the type of thing you would be moved from home to hospital to have. This is partially because if you need it, then labour is not going totally ''naturally'', you may need stronger pain releif and your contractions and the baby''s heart beat will need continuous monitoring using the cardiotocograph (CTG)

I have a question about Vitamin K given to newborns. I understand the link between the Vitamin K injection and childhood cancer cannot be proven as such therefore the risks are thought to be minimal.
