What can go wrong in labour?

It''s not so much that things go wrong as they can become more complicated, and this can be major or minor. These include prolonged labour, fetal distress, the need for forceps or ventouse, or even an operation. The professionals are there to anticipate anything out of the ordinary, and act accordingly. This will always be done following consultation with you and your partner.
