Whatīs the postcoital test (PCT)?

Itīs a test which it provides information about the way the mucus of your cervix reacts with the sperm, and how long the sperm survives. It has to be performed soon after unprotected intercourse; the cervical mucus is examined under a microscope in the laboratory. Its usefulness is controversial as couples with a poor scores have become pregnant; others with good scores have not. Many infertility clinics do not use this test any more.
