What diseases have been diagnosed by preimplantation genetic diagnosis PGD?

It has successfully detected single gene defect such as sickle cell disease, cystic fibrosis, hemophilia, Duchene muscular dystrophy, Tay-Sachs disease, and others. It can also determine the sex of the embryo, this has special relevance for couples who are at risk for transmitting X or Y linked chromosomes disorders such as Duchene muscular dystrophy and haemophilia; both affect males only.
