What happens when I get to the labour ward? |
You will be met by some of the staff and allocated to a room. In time (possibly between contractions) you will be able to change into say, a tee-shirt, have a wee and get settled. Your midwife will then ask you and your partner to bring her up to date with what''s been happening, in order that she can decide what to do next. |
