What do I have to arrange for getting to hospital when the time comes?

Getting to hospital...never plan to drive yourself. If no partner or friend is available, you could try a taxi or in an emergency call an ambulance. If you have other children, it is vital you have plans in place for someone to care for them at short notice..remember you may start labour in the small hours of the morning (this is the commonest time). Make sure you have covered for this eventuality in your plans.
