How might I catch toxoplasmosis?

Toxoplasmosis is caused by eating the parasite toxoplasma gondii. It is present in animal faeces (most commonly of cats) and undercooked pork or other meats. While most women know that it is important to avoid contact with cat faeces, not all realise that undercooked meat (particularly pork) is the main method of the disease infecting humans.
