I have recurrent thrush (candida). Can this be treated in pregnancy?

Yes it can; creams and vaginal suppositories based on clotrimazole or most other antifungals are quite safe if used under the guidance of your doctor in pregnancy. Oral tablets (such as fluconazole) are better avoided in pregnancy unless specifically required. The bad news is that thrush often recurs in pregnancy despite treatment. The bad news is that there is no good evidence that local application of yoghurt or honey is anything more than messy and expensive!
