I fainted this morning, for the first time. Is this because I am pregnant?

It may be, because fainting is a complaint of pregnant women, particularly around 16-22 weeks. All the nutrients which are carried to your baby, and all the waste products are taken away come via your blood. In pregnancy therefore the blood volume increases and the blood concentration decreases. Sometimes therefore when you haven''t eaten or are tired, or low in energy, you may feel weak suddenly and may pass out. It is usually not sinister, and is your body''s way of telling you to ease up whatever you are doing at that time, reserve your energy and eat more fuel.
