I won''t know anyone at the antenatal classes.. that worries me

Agreed, you may well not know anyone else when you first attend, but it is guaranteed that you will know lots of people by the time the 6-8 weekly sessions are completed. One of the greatest benefits of antenatal classes, voiced by those who attend, is that because they are at local level, you get to meet with other mothers and couples in the area who are also having a baby. This can be of particular benefit to those having a baby for the first time, as their own friends may not yet have children and so, since getting pregnant they feel socially isolated. It is an excellent way of meeting other mums to be, so don''t feel isolated if you are a single mum or this is your first baby, as you can guarantee that there are many others in the same position as you.
