Will getting pregnant on the pill affect the baby?

The amount of hormones in the pill (both the combined oral contraceptive and the mini-pill) are very small and disappear very rapidly from your body, so are very unlikely to cause any harm to the developing baby. These hormones are similar to those such as oestrogen and progesterone that are in your body anyway.
