Who do I have to tell that I''m pregnant?

You don''t have to tell anyone, unless it is a requirement of, for example, your work. Normally you will contact your family doctor or midwife, so that booking and hospital/scan visits can be arranged. If you have a complicated medical or obstetric history, then the sooner you see a doctor to plan your pregnancy care, the better. Especially if, for example, your are epileptic, diabetic or severely asthmatic or have heart disease. The ''bulge'' does not normally show until at least 16-18 weeks, so you usually have time!
