Will the chlorine in my local swimming pool do us any harm?

No there is no need to stop swimming because of chlorine in the water; it isn''t absorbed by your body. The reason it is added to the water is to reduce the the risk of infections spreading from person to person. Swimming is ideally suited to pregnancy because the water supports you and you won''t get over heated while exercising. Many pools now offer special swimming /aerobic classes for pregnant/postnatal women. Check with your local pool.
