Will making love with my partner damage the baby? |
No. It is usually quite safe to have sex when you are pregnant. The baby is safely enclosed in a bag (the membranes) full of liquid (amniotic fluid) all inside your womb. The only rare occasions when sex is discouraged is if you have a low placenta (placenta praevia) causing bleeding, or if your waters have broken.
