Is it true that if I don't feel the baby move more than ten times per day there is a problem?

No. Movements are very variable and probably the best guide is how you personally feel about how the baby is moving. Although ten movements per day is often used as a rough guide later on in pregnancy, it is important not to be worried sick if you only count nine one particular day. You may well not feel movements until 20 or sometimes even 22 weeks.
