My womb muscles seem to spasm a lot lately. Am I in labour?

No, what is happening is you''re experiencing what are known as Braxton Hicks contractions. These occur any time after 24 weeks or so and are thought to be practice for your womb muscles for labour. The real thing, labour contractions, are quite different: they come regularly, and are painful so you should know the difference. As your due date comes close you may experience these ''practice contractions'' frequently, if so try to stop what you are doing and relax until they pass
