My face has become quite swollen and round-is this normal?

Yes, it is normal. Your face becomes swollen because of the extra fluid that collects under the skin anyway in pregnancy (oedema). In addition to this, the fat distribution of your body changes somewhat because of the influence of oestrogen and another steroid hormone, cortisol that is produced by your adrenal glands. Just occasionally, if you suffer from pre-eclampsia, you can get generalized and marked swelling of your legs, arms and face.
