I didn't know I was pregnant and drunk a couple of alcoholic drinks during and right after my ovulation cycle, is this bad for my baby or will my baby have any birth defects?

Almost certainly not. Firstly, if you were drinking alcohol at around ovulation, you weren't technically pregnant and the embryo wouldn't normally implant for another 5 or 6 days anyway-hence there is no risk of alcohol affecting the embryo. A couple of drinks would be very unlikely to cause a problem anyway.
