My son passed away recently due to SIDS. If I have another baby will it happen to that one as well?

We are very sorry to hear this. SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) is mercifully rare and very unlikely to recur. There are however some known risk factors for it. So in a future pregnancy, advice can be given by your doctor and/or midwife on how to reduce the risk-for example, if anyone smokes in your home then this should stop, and there is some research available on best positions for babies to sleep in.
