I'm approximately 4 weeks pregnant now and I feel a 10 week scan is so long to wait. Is there any way of me checking now to make sure my baby is fine, or am I being paranoid?

Another 6 weeks does seem a long time to wait. If you want reassurance that everything is going OK, you could make enquiries with your doctor or midwife about whether it would be possible to arrange an early 'viability' scan at 6-8 weeks. You may have to pay privately for this, however.
