I am 36 weeks pregnant and my baby has not moved in over 2 hours. I'm concerned because she has always been very active. I've tried jiggling my stomach to wake her or stimulate movement for the past hour and have got no response. What should I do?

It is very likely that baby is just resting-they don't always move even in response to being stimulated. But if you feel that the pattern of movements is unusual-even after only 2 hours-get in touch with your midwife or obstetrician as they can either listen to baby's heart to reassure you, or even do a scan if there are ongoing concerns.
