My womb keeps going ''hard'' like a contraction sometimes once or twice a day. Should I be worried?

From about 24 weeks onwards, you might feel occasional contractions of the womb that last for a minute or two, and then go again. You can sometimes see your abdomen tightening up when this happens. This may occur several times per day, and these tightenings, called Braxton-Hicks contractions, are very common and nothing to be concerned about.
