I'm a single mum and my son's dad is claiming that he has a low sperm count. Could this be possible?

It is perfectly possible to father a baby even with a low sperm count (oligospermia), but obviously not if there is no sperm (azoospermia). Any doubt-a DNA test is the only way to be sure of paternity.
