I am trying to get pregnant. Should I be taking any vitamins before pregnancy to help get my body ready?

The only supplement that is recommended is folic acid 400 micrograms daily. If you are anaemic, or have an exclusion diet-for example a vegan diet-then extra iron tablets are advised. There is normally no need for any extra vitamins.
