Following a 7 week scan my new EDD means that I ovulated 10 days after having intercourse. Is this possible?

It is unlikely. If you know when you ovulated because you were doing an ovulation kit, it is more likely that the scan is a few days adrift. That is why although scans before ten weeks can give a rough idea of your due date, a dating scan is most accurate at 10-13 weeks.
