My first child was breech and I'm now pregnant with my 2nd child. Am I at a greater risk of having a breach baby again this time round?

Depending on the reason why baby was breech, there is a slightly higher risk of your second being breech. For example, if you have a bicornuate uterus or fibroids that change the shape of the uterus, there is a higher risk of your next baby being breech. If there is no obvious reason why first baby was breech, this risk is only slightly increased from the 3% background rate of babies being breech at term.
